By default, LinearFit calculates the estimated errors in the fitted parameters. Those errors are also used to do significant figure adjustments on the values of the parameters themselves.
By setting the ReturnErrors option to False, no errors are returned and as a consequence the significant figures of the parameters values are not adjusted.
