Description


Gives a direct reading of capacitance on a 3.5 digit LCD display. Nine ranges give precision readings from 0.1 pF to 20,000 uF.

Operating Instructions
  1. Observe Polarity when connecting polarized capacitors.
  2. Full discharge any capacitors.
  3. Never apply voltage to the test jacks.
  4. Set power switch to "ON" position.
  5. Select the range switch for the maximum expected capacitance.
  6. Check the zero display adjustment to read zero (limited to approximately ±20 pF).
  7. Connect the alligator clips to the capacitor leads.
  8. Read the display in the units that your range is on
  9. If the display is "1" then go to a higher range
