Operating Instructions
  1. Ensure probe is connected (PROBE will flash on display if connected improperly).
  2. Turn meter on - CAL NO should flash ON and OFF.
  3. Match display number with calibration number on probe (1430) as follows (if necessary) :
  4. Press RANGE/CAL NO "U" key. The display will show 001.
  5. Press RANGE/CAL NO "U" key as many times necessary to display the second numeral of the CAL number. (Use "D" to decrement)
  6. Press ENTER/RESET (the second numeral is set).
  7. Repeat previous two steps for the third and fourth CAL numeral
  8. Press ENTER/RESET. The flashing CAL NO prompt should disappear and be replaced by a flashing ZERO PROBE
  9. When properly calibrated, scan object with probe.
