Description


Provides sufficient white light for strobe photography and for "stopping the motion". The light is produced with a xenon flash tube. The flash rate is adjustable from 1-300 flashes per second and a digital displays reads the flash rate.

Operating Instructions


  1. Flip the power switch on.
  2. The power switch will light, the stroboscope will begin flashing, and the display will read the flash rate in flashes per second.
  3. To vary the flash rate, turn the flash rate adjust knob located to the right of the display (clockwise increases the rate; counter clockwise decreases the rate.


PRECAUTION!

A very small fraction of the population is susceptible to epileptic seizures induced by light flashing at frequencies of 8-15 Hz. Students with a personal history of epilepsy are advised not to use a stroboscope at these frequencies.
