Today's Class

We finished our discussion of Chapter 10.

We ended the class by talking about the "bomb" that Einstein dropped on physics in 1905, and the similar "bomb" that Picasso dropped on the art world in 1907. It has been suggested that both bombs have a common origin: a statement by Poincaré in 1902 that there is no absolute space and no absolute time.
